I did take a look at that one. There is a very long thread here and after reading all of it there seems to be a large variation in quality. Many loved it and many had problems losing canopies and cowls. Severe warps and terrible covering we're also frequently mentioned. Given the price and all of the Tower coupons it could be great if you luck out and get a good one.

The real problem now is F3A unlimited just dropped the price of the Monolog 70 making me seriously consider upgrading to a larger plane. Unfortunately my winter field has a very tight overfly and I could imagine a larger plane being flown too big.
