<span style="font-size: medium">The World Models "Outrunner 37/48 Deluxe Motor 40"
</span> There are very good pics of this motor at:
http://www.servoshop.co.uk/index.php?pid=KM0374811 (see bottom of page)</p>
Also: This World Models 37/48 motor has a VERY similar "look" to the:Sonic Electric 3525-810 (this motor is also 37mm diam, 48mm long; it has a 3025 stator; the name "3525" comes from a combination of the approximate external diameter, and the length of the stator ...)
see:
http://www.sonicelectric.com/Merchan...de=SE-3525-810
-this Sonic Electric motor is also a "3748" on external dimensions, has same weight ~178g as the WM one, and a very close quoted Kv of 810.
The two motors have a slightly different style front housing -but we know that one single factory can often produce motors with a slight difference in end housings -when the the actual motor underneath is <u><span style="font-size: small">
exactly</span></u> the same ... e.g.
http://www.rcuniverse.com/forum/fb.asp?m=11449011</p>
The front housing style of the World Models 37/48 motor is, however, very similar to the style of the Foxy C3025/12 motor
see:
http://www.puffinmodels.com/product.php?prod=2150-and this is another 3748 motor, and this one has EXACTLY the same quoted Kv of 770, and weight, as the World Models motor ...</p>
NOW: the interesting thing is that we
KNOW that both the Foxy and the Sonic Electric motors are made by the SunRay Technology factory ...
-and so it looks very much like this World Models 37/48 motor is also made by SunRay Technology.
One of the "give aways" of being a Sunray Tech-made motor is a brass washer and horse-shoe ‘C’ clip on the shaft just outside the front housing -and the World Models 37/48 motor has exactly this feature ..- http://www.rcuniverse.com/forum/fb.asp?m=11426913</p>
-Since this World Models motor will therefore be completely identical (internally)to the Foxy C3025/12 to and the Sonic Electric 3525-810: - Then it is also EXACTLY THE SAME IDENTICAL motor (internally) as these following 3748 motors: Hacker A30-12 XL Kv 700 =Torque 2812T/720, 12T, Kv 720 =HYPERION Z3025-12T 665 KV =Turnigy SK3 3548-700kv, 12T =LiPoliceLP-3025/12T-770KV=Infinite A3025-770, 12T

This World Models 37/48 motor costs $48.90at:
http://www.rc711.com/shop/outrunner-...ne-p-2585.html
-whereas the Hacker A30-12 XL costs $113.32 (anywhere in Europe)
However, the Sonic Electric 3525-810 motor only costs $54.95
<span style="font-size: small">The World Models 37/48 motoris only 43% of the <u><span style="font-size: medium">totally identical</span></u> Hacker A30motor -and the Sonic Electric is just 48% of the Hacker A30 ....
</span>
-And also I note this World Models 37/48 motor can be bought on eBay: for just$49.99
http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/World-Mode...-/181073497802</p>
<span style="font-size: small">-Looks like we have another member of the "Sunray brands" motor group -World Models .... </span></p>
