RE: nose heavy
I see where youre going....CG range is a personnel choice in other words once the airplane is balanced you should be in the range called for in the instructions or plans. Now this is a starting point. Go fly trim it for level flight at about half throttle....fly it around some...how does it react for you....now you have to make choices the farther aft CG is the more unstable the craft becomes. You may have to add in some expo to keep from "chasing" the airplane with the sticks. You may need some mixes added in. To get a great kneif edge....get with some of youre IMAC guys and ask them to help you set up your plane.
As for me I like a nuetral CG...this is a new setting for me as I used to like a tad nose heavy. I set my cg to neutral before the maiden flight then go fly after I've trimmed I'll go into a 45 deg upline roll inverted and let go of the sticks at full throttle if it climbs Im tail heavy if it noses over im nose heavy. How much you like is up to you.
Like I said get with our IMAC guys and have a ball I congratulate you for getting out of you're comfort zone it's hard to do. Good Flyin to you
