Hi folks,

Way back in this forum there is a discussion on where the CGshould be on the Pica 1/5 scale model, as apparently the location on the plans are not correct. I seem to remember someone (Bill?) saying that you level the model and measure the distance from the top wing LE to the bottom wing TE as projected to the table surface, and consider this as the total MAC. Then measure back from the top wing LE about 25% of that total MAC. Does this sound about right. This seems to agree with some of the methods I have discovered in a quick search tonight. My only concern is the difference in the areas of the two wings, as the bottom is much smaller.

Comments welcome, along with what works for you if you have one flying.
