Dave, How do you balance the Hawk? up-right or inverted ?

Thanks!
Sales have slowed a lot. Custom schemes are possible...

Not surprising as this could certainly be a factor of CARF's massive price increases last year. Price increases of 30% to 50%+ depending on kit are going to result in sales decreases. You may still consider them good value but, few companies can get away with price increases like that. Then they put on the ''deal of the week'' and discount them down but, still well above the old prices. They're not fooling anyone and I guess few are buying.

Also, nothings in stock ( in the USA) and what stock there is, is old.

I bought a Red Arrows Hawk last summer to back up my 2010 display scheme and finally just got around to building it and realize that it is a VERY old kit. Much older than the 2010 display Hawk I purchased the previous year. Missing one sheet with the fuselage fins, stab horns not pre-mounted, no fuse scoops, no wire for rudder hinge, no mount for the nose pitot. Very annoying to buy a new kit and realize it's an old one!

Mike

None of the prices increased that much.

I don't see it as price, in England we have 200 ish active proper jet modellers, there have been 40-50 Hawks come into England...the other people probably don't want Hawks. As more new Jetites join the fold the CARF Hawk will sell more.
If you Hawk is missing the parts you list, contact Andy and he will get them sorted. I have no idea on stock there, but here everything was sold here several times, I guess it just was not as popular in the USA

Costs have gone up, fact of life, there was no price increase since the 2009 release, it was way overdue.

Flew the thread starter today, favourite model and always will be
