If there's no water prop, then I'd say the center would work just fine. Does it already have air rudders behind the engine? Just curious as to why you'd want a water rudder.

I have a airboat with a tunnel hull type design. A Dumas Big Swamp Buggy. I want to put a water rudder on it. If there is no prop wash maybe the middle would be the best spot??
