Nice to see somebody else pointing out the facts on some of these so called ready to fly models,i have been talking about this for years in the uk.some of the kits we buy are just not fit for purpose.
But if we complain we just get fobbed off.i have seen an expensive Fred Basset T33 shed its wings in flight.plus I myself nearly lost a well known trainer due to the wing tube sliding into the outer panel.I waited months for a new to the market kit to arrive and when it did I spent the next 2 months correcting faults that should not exist.then on the first flight had the retracts pull out of the poor quality u/c rails,on the taxi back I might add not the landing.I have worked in the motor trade for years and if we sent cars out in the condition we receive some of these so called RTF kits we would be in court quicker than you could think.
