Laminating will keep the balsa from splitting.

I think E is two pieces of wood. They may be the same size as the motor rails. It's been a long time since I built mine.

Edit. I laminated the two pieces E to the balsa block C and this was used to make spacers for the main gear doors and the nose gear door. On the nose gear door it keep the door from getting caught on the strut when dropping the gear.
Thanks quist. I eventually ended up at the same conclusion. Not a big deal, but what exactly is the point of laminating block C on both sides with E. Mind you, I am brand new to jets and airplanes and come from the Heli world so building is very different.

Don't worry - the UF will not be flown until probably next year, once I get very comfortable with my HABU 32. Planes seemed boring compared to Helis, but Jets...well that's a different story! I became ADDICTED once I started flying the Habu 2 foamy and am also building the Eflite Phantom 32.

Thanks,

Jeremy
