I do recall your experiment. That involved flat sheet canards, correct? Not airfoils? If that is so, the experiment would be a tad flawed as far as uncovering any truth about aerodynamic balance. Also, were the canards based upon and/or modeled after some existing, real-world, FS example?
No, they were airfoil shaped. Yes, it was based upon a real-world FS example the Sukhoi Su-27IB, which was the Sukhoi testbed for the Su-32/Su-34 Platypus. All of the flying surfaces are 100% scale in outline.

My mistake, and I stand corrected. I wonder if the canards (or the stabs for that matter) are static balanced on the pivot on the FS aircraft you mentioned. Do you happen to know?
