I do recall your experiment. That involved flat sheet canards, correct? Not airfoils? If that is so, the experiment would be a tad flawed as far as uncovering any truth about aerodynamic balance. Also, were the canards based upon and/or modeled after some existing, real-world, FS example?
No, they were airfoil shaped. Yes, it was based upon a real-world FS example the Sukhoi Su-27IB, which was the Sukhoi testbed for the Su-32/Su-34 Platypus. All of the flying surfaces are 100% scale in outline.
Oh,
My mistake, and I stand corrected. I wonder if the canards (or the stabs for that matter) are static balanced on the pivot on the FS aircraft you mentioned. Do you happen to know?
You may greef, but I want to ask a question

. And moderators, this is not as OT as it first may seem, so please do not delete it..
So the Skymaster models are tested by the BVM pilots to be OK as I understand it.
That means that there is tests behind that proofs the facts, and I assume the tests are just flying it, not calculations to obtain aerodynamic balance? And finally, what do you buys think about the Skymaster F-16 1;6 scale, is it safe..?
Anyone?
