I don't think it would be much like a Kougar. Not to say it wouldn't be a good plane,but it's made quite a bit different.
The Kougar isn't too hard of a build in my opinion. Especially if you leave off the turtle deck canopy and cowl.

That said this might be a little closer,but I havn't owned one yet.
