Yes, a Decathalon is definitely a more capable plane areobatically, but it comes with a price. Compared to a Cub, the Decathalon will stall easier, lands faster, and still has the same ground habits as a Cub. But the ones I've flown are still great flying planes and she should be able to handle one with your help.
