Default RE: Thunder Tiger Outlaw Jr. Brushless

Two guys at our club had bought one of these each some time ago & because of the angle of the shaft they ran too wet no matter where they put the batteries.
So out came all the innards & drive shaft.
In went a 3674 2200kv turnigy motor and a 120A ESC with a strut & flex drive.
With a 437/3 prop they are damn fast. With a 440/3 they are ballistic. with cool electrics & a decent run time on a single 5000mah 4s pack.
srt10 is spot on with the motor choice.

For those still wanting to run a 28mm motor on 3s in this boat. I can recommend this motor with a 440/3 or a 442 two blade.

I've had it in a 25" bling rocket & it is a wee little beastie of a motor. I even ran it on 4s with a 437/3 prop. No problems but you will need a 120A ESC at least. I popped an 80A ESC with it. It easily puts out the 1000w that it states.

Cheers.
Paul.
