Default RE: ***CUB BROTHERHOOD***

Just a quick tip to pass along to all. If you are like me, you have a box, drawer, or something full of servo wheels and horns. Check that you have the correct horn for the servo. Not all servos use the same spline on the horns. This past weekend I almost lost my cream 1/4 scale cub due to this issue. I was coming out of a turn and the cub did not want to level out and then snapped up on a knife edge. I'm running true scale ailerons on the plane with a pull pull system fed from a pulley. Last spring when I redid the setup, the wheels I picked out of the box snapped on the servo and thought it was a good fit. Well after a year of flying and no issues it hit me. For both ailerons I could hold the surface, and move the stick, the wheels were slipping on the shafts.
