Some talk on springs or other options then the O rings. I'm also looking at different options. One issue with the robart gear is they are designed for a standard Cub with a weight around 14 to 16 pounds. My cream cub is around 19 pounds. If I just use the 4 O rings on each side as it is shipped , my plane is to heavy for them, I have to add two extra o rings to each side.
