Hi, I'm Glen. About 13 years ago, a friend and fellow ham radio operator taught me how to fly his 40 size trainer. I bought one and built it but never got around to putting in an engine and radios. Between household moves, a divorce and more moves, I ended up giving it away.

This spring, the fellow I share an office with started back into the hobby after a 15 year break. Since I had just purchased a couple of radios for the ham hobby, I tried to resist all the R/C talk in the office. I made it through the entire summer but, alas, I just couldn't go on pretending I wasn't interested. My resistance broke down and I bought an Avistar RTF and all the field equipment. I'm back. Hopefully, this time to stay.
