I don't have the elephant. Just got the Famo and overall I'm pretty happy with it. I haven't tested the gearboxes or really taken it apart yet.
They do seem to have a few casting imperfections and flaws here and there, nothing bad or that can't be filled with putty. The seat texture doesn't look very good so I'll be changing that.
I think they should have added more detail bits like a folding top and a few other things, but it looks like they made a few improvements over earlier releases of the Famo.


It's pretty big and heavy and will be impressive once I get it painted and running, and although being all metal adds to the impressive effect, it could have
been mostly plastic and I still would have been happy with it. I just wanted a Famo.
