On my Platt 1/6-scale (apparently on the 1/5-scale as well) there are balsa sheet insets mounted in-between the main landing gear wires. Since the landing gear flexes, I will not be glueing the top of the inserts to the fuselage. I've mulling-over leaving a small gap (1/16"?) between the top of the insert and the fuselage. I'm wondering how some of you handled this area. I've looked for pics here, but with 650 pages, Its hit-n-miss.
