Default RE: Yellow F22 Build

That sux Tom!

The only reason I found my pipe failing was because it was yawing real bad during hard thrust vectoring and it made me look into it more.

My yellow Pipe failed in the first 6 months of operation. I think the normal pipes are fine but the ones used for thrust vectoring are flawed. The double wall ends before the end of the pipe and because of that it does not get suction from the inside pipe exhaust flowing out. That makes the double wall not get enough air around it and it runs hotter then it should. The stock yellow pipe non thrust vectoring should be fine.

My tams pipe is smaller dia in the back so the outer wall is inside the thrust vectoring so it sucks the air through the double wall. Im flying mine with a 170 now and full throttle allot beating the crap out of it. So many this week where blown away with the top end speed.

Tom would love to see you do another one!
