Remember to keep it FUN. Too many people running a contest get way to serious and make it a day of work instead of play. Keep everything as simple as you can, and your safety rusle to AMA requirements plus whatever your club adds as particulars. Don't attempt to use every minute for contest events, leave breaks in time for event changes, b-essing, lunch, and general socializing.

Radio impound and frequency control is a must!!!

The lunch and raffles are great ideas. Look to your local hobby shop for raffle ideas. Good advertising for him, and increases turnout.
