RE: Help, Tips needed for holding a Funfly
Keep things moving quickly. You might consider tying two or three events together. For example: Three loops, three rolls, three spins and a spot landing. Time starts when the wheels leave the ground, manuvers are completed, and time stops when wheels touch down at landing. Additionally, the landing was to take place in close proximity to a spot such as an target on the runway. Fastest time on the first event, and closest to the mark for a second event, all in one event.
Funflys can take all day if the pace is not moving well. Have the next two competitors due for their turns ready to go, maybe even engine running. Lots of time is wasted while the pilot readys his plane (watch the frequencies if you want them engine running)
