Glad to see you bring that beauty back out!
here are a few more pics...
it may be abit much for some, but I really wanted that worn paint look, and not the chipped so much. I wanted it to look like it was worn down in the Pacific sun and sand. I went alittle heavy where the pilot would enter and exit the plane. I'll work on the cowl abit tomorrow if I can. I have to figure out exactly what I am going to do on the wings and tail....I guess I'll figure something out...
When I'm done, I'll hit the whole plane with steel wool to really distress it abit more.
I'll heat the copper pipes up red hot with a torch as well, this will give them a well used look.
