YS 45 for a scale subject?
I am considering this engine for a scale WWII fighter model with 800 sq.in. of wing area and will weight about 7.5-9 pounds loaded with fuel.
Will the .45 be stong enough? I'm not looking for unlimited verticle, just typical WWII manuverabilty with some HP to spare in emergencies.
The .45 interests me because of is reputation as a "hot 45", its pumped fuel system (I want to put the tank on the CG) and rear exhaust (I want to use a tuned pipe running through the fuse).
Thanks for any insight or comparisions your can provide
