does anyone know were the gc should be on a 1/4 scale pilot one aeronca champ with a g-23 engine ?
I have no idea what any original measurments are but for that airplane with a simple untapered wing if you just measure from the trailing edge to the leading edge and divide that figure by four and that sum will be the distance back from the leading edge to mark your target CG. That will be 25% Mac, if you truly balance at that point your airplane will fly very well with no surprises.
