Default Check lists

I will shortly be placing an order for a TD Hawk which, for me, represents a serious increase in 'dollars at risk'. As a former full size pilot I'm conditioned to using check-lists and it got me wondering how you highly experienced RC pilots go about managing your risks and whether you use check-lists of any kind.

So - if we think about what I'll call the 'life cycle' of a visit to the field - i.e. from the point at which you decide to go flying and the point when your aircraft is safely back home and stowed until the next time - what for you are the key generic check points (recognizing that aircraft and equipment will have their own specifics).

Sorry if this has been covered before but my searches revealed very little (but that maybe because this search engine and I don't get along)

Thanks for any insights you can pass on

Bob
