Well I have ditched the idea of racing again, at least racing 1:10 anyway. I am getting a few Tamiya re-release kits and bashing them round the garden and the beach with my little girl who is starting to take an interest. Cheaper, more fun and time with the family means win win for me!! The only time it will get anything like competitive is when a few mates who have Tamiya re-re's join me for a beach bashing session.
If I do any racing again it will be the smaller scale cars on the rare occasion I don't work late.

You never know, the Tamiyas on the beach might turn into something as there are loads of old time Tamiya nuts over here. Maybe that will be our equivalent of your bash nights.
