Ross 61 engines were strong runners, the exhaust size bear almost nothing in output, its a loop scavenged motor in its standard configuration, they made opposed twins and opposed fours as well, all based on the same design. the engines were used in the twin and four cylinder configuration for powering the space shuttle test models, they had articles in RCM and model builder with Clarence Lee testing them as well.
