mattnew...As they say "You can always tell an engineer, BUT you can't tell him much."
In all of the shops I've worked in, the engineers submit what they think they want. We correct them and let them know what can actually be done. The engineer changes his submitted plans to what we suggest, and then we proceed from there.
This thread is going way off topic, but to t-max97...make sure you weigh all of the possibilities. I think we all agree that further education is very helpful in reaching your goals in life. Don't wait too long to get a pilots license, there are no guarantees on how long any of us have to do what we really want.
