Hi T-Max,I'm 19 years old and have always wanted to fly. I built and launched model rockets when I was young, and moved up to radio control aircraft a few years ago. Moving away for university would have forced me to either downsize or stop altogether any hobbies that I had, including building and flying models. Instead, I decided that I'd enrol in a local college program that would allow me to get my flying "fix" and get a proper education.
Below I've attached a few pictures of today's lesson:
At the end of the day, I will have a Commercial, IFR, Multi-Engine rating, as well as an engineering knowledge base. Ancilliary courses will also allow me to get various degrees in a much shortened timeframe as well. This will give me a far broader range of opportunities down the road and keep my options open.
There are quite a few schools that offer this, and although there are many ways to getting your "ticket", I'm having a blast with this route!
Best of luck,
Graeme
