I think we got off course on warbird takeoff discussion. In order to minimize plane pulling to the left on take off, bottom line is:
1) Take advantage of weathervane effect if having crosswind. Take off in direction that allows wind to blow against right side of fuselage.
2) Reduce P-factor which can be done by: a) put in 3-4 degrees right and down thrust on engine, b) get the tailwheel off the ground asap to reduce angle of attack/reduce P-factor, and allow rudder to be more effect to keep plane tracking straight down the runway.
