For future reference, sheeting on the fin should have grain parallel to either the LE or the TE (ideally a mix of both) just like when you build a framed up wing or stab. Sheeting parallel to the thrust line results in a weaker structure which can more easily break in its span wise direction in the case of a flip over. The same goes for the rudder unless you want a warped control down the line.
