I am trying a new service for our customers: the creation of custom specced MIL spec loom for our kits.
I have started with the Scorpion Mk2. I will only propose this aircraft initially to see if customers are satisfied with the service. If it works and there is a demand for it, I will expand the option to all the other kits we sell.
Here is a description of the loom:
Professionally built loom using the best MIL supply available on the market. The loom is at the correct length and is a drop fit into the fuselage/ wings/ fins. The only thing required to do is to glue the loom clamps and install the wrap-around heat insulation sleeve on the main loom.
It features the following:
High quality AWG 20 silicon servo wires.
Custom crimped JR, Polarized latched plugs, EWC3 and EWC6 gold plated plugs.
All weldings are using MIL silver tin wire
Servo and EWC terminal cables protected with our MIL spec glass fiber expandable mesh sleeve and MIL spec heat shrink.
Very high quality MIL spec wrap-around heat protective sleeve included for the main loom.
Ultimate Jets custom carbon/ resin clips included.
1/2" and 1"adjustable loop clamps included.
All cables are labeled on the receiver side.
The following items are included:
8 wires for the main fuselage loom, soldered to EWC3 and EWC6 terminals, with JR plugs on the receiver side and labeled.
4 wires for the left and right wings, soldered to EWC 6 terminals and labeled with JR plugs on the servo side.
2 wires for the left and right rudder, soldered to EWC 3 terminals with JR plugs on the servo side.
2 MIL spec wrap-around sleeves of 3 feet long.
2 adjustable loom clamps, 1/2".
6 adjustable loom clamps, 1".
6 Ultimate Jets flat loom claps for 2 cables
2 Ultimate Jets servo wires organizer clips.
The loom can be ordered in size short, medium or long.
Short size is for compact 12 channels receivers that are fitted at the back of the accessory tray.
Medium size is 10 cm/ 4' longer for fitting a receiver at the middle of the tray.
Long size is 25 cm/ 8" longer for fitting a powerbox system in front of the accessory tray, above the nose gear strut.
