You're right, in that last knife edge I was watching what the plane was doing. I set up a couple mixes on the ground and had so much fun on the next flight that I forgot to see how they worked out. Hopefully today I'll get it dialed in a little more. The squeal isn't as pronounced as I've seen it on other planes, probably because I've set up the "reverse differential" that is described in the book. I can't believe how linear and smooth the DA is. I originally had 20% expo in the throttle, like on my Brison 3.2 and Zenoah GT-80, but during the range test I took all the expo out. Not worrying about how the engine runs on a test flight is a very, very good thing.
