That red head .61 has a K&B carb on it...is that what they came with in the later versions? I haven't looked in a while, and don't recall right off hand, but were they or are they currently sold by mecoa? (that might explain the K&B carb )
I have a very early one with natural Alum. case (sand cast )...black head, prop driver and backplate...and a Perry carb...all original.
I have the same engine as you with the Perry carb. Maybe the K&B card was used on the black 61 only.
