Firebird II assistance
Hay Guys,I have had a Firebird for along time and I love it. Here are some things to check,
First look at the tail and see if the eleavators are level with the tail,if not check to see if the rubber band is hooked to both control horns.
If the rubber band is there then look at the eleavator on the right looking from the rear of the plane and if it is not level with the tail it will cause the plane to turn to the left.
Here is the cure, take the little piece of tubing off the control horn,it is holding the fishing line from slipping.Tighten the line enough to bring the eleavator up level with the tail, put the tubing back over the line and the horn and give it a try.If it still does it,repeat what you just did.If it is turning the other way do the same thing on the other side.
If you move the line up on the control horns it will give you more throw wich will give you more responce but be careful because it will go into a turn hard and you will loose control.Remember these things are very light and the wind has a big effect on them.
I fly mine in wind that has mt ribbon straite out!! It doesn,t have allot of power so you have to use your head a little and if you want to climb fast, just put it into the wind and add full power and she will climb right out. With some practice you will be surprised how much fun they are. If you need more help fel free to e me and I will see if I can help, good luck..........Swampthing
