Default RE: HOB Micro Electric Cub

Hello all,

Time for the final build update. It's done, after completing some minor damage "8 Bits" is ready to fly again! I really hope my dad enjoys it! Wind permitting here in Kansas I hope t do at least one more test flight before I "box" it up and wrap it for Father's Day! It's final weight was 8.2 oz so it's wing loading should be at roughly 9.1. So it will be a somewhat slow flyer and should have an endurance of 15 minutes plus! Incase you were all wondering why I've been quite the past week, I was out of town on business and had to devote my attention elsewhere. Any way attached are a couple of photos of the name on the plane. For those of you who don't know the reference, 8 bits is the same as a dollar, or in my case 4 quarters. Which was the amount of weight I needed to bring the plane into balance! I couldn't think of a more fitting name. Yes I know the image below only shows 3 quarters, I forgot to take a final picture with the last quarter attached. Anyway good night all! I will be sure to post my next build project, although I'm certain it will not be done this quickly!

Thanks,

Bill
