..and, Rob, the bar (party room) at the back of the 380 is quite something, rather like the aeroplane itself, THE machine for long haul, making the 747 seem as dated as it is.

Glad you all liked the pictures, I was really pleased with them.

Regards,

David.
Well that was certainly an interesting flight, I had only flown once before on the 380 and that was a short 2 hour dry hop between Jeddah and Dubai. This time nearly 7 hours between Manchester and Dubai, initially quite an unusual feeling standing at the bar drinking and feeling the floor moving under your feet! Those small yaw inputs in cruise which you can hardly feel in your seat turn out to be bigger when balancing on your feet, it's probably because it's at the rear or maybe the Dom Perignon that was sent back from First

The brand new all 380 terminal at DBX is quite something with the capacity for up to 20 A380 jets at the same time! Hopped off the 380 onto a 777 which is my favourite Boing jet and noted next to us Emirates has the 1000th 777..impressive stuff.

Sorry for the slight divergence off topic.

Rob.
