RE: Aurora9 & Eagletree problems
I have done it on two airplanes and it works great. So assign channel 5 to a name...I used gyro. Then select switch C to control that channel....gyro. Set switch to your liking: I have mine set to up=3d, mid=no gyro, down=2d.
Plug the gyro lead "mod" into channel 5.
If you want TX gain control of the gyro, use channel 6. Asign it to somthing...Aux xyz etc. Set it to control from a slider. I use right slider RS. Plug the gyro gain lead into channel 6.
Be careful because if you use the TX to control gain which Irecommend, then the Eagletree multiplies the little pot gains (Rudder, ail , elv) by 2. So you might best set your little pots to 25% or so to start.
When you go to fly you need to set up the system so it knows the trims and where level plane is. So set the switch up, turn on your Aircraft, lift up the tail to level within 15 seconds and then throw the switch all the way down and back all the way up. In a few second you should see your surfaces make one jump, elevator down for example and then back to neutral. Once enabled, pick up the tail and the gyro should try to level the plane by putting in down elevator. Turn the switch to mid..off, pick up the tail and the surfaces should not move as the gyro should be off.
Good luck.
