Hobbyking actually encouraged me to return a defective item through their online chat service.
I returned a Nine Eagles powered-glider, to the USA Warehouse, and received store credit for the defective item.
It was the first faulty product I have ever received from any Hobbyking warehouse. No big deal....
Yes, I ate the return shipping costs; but, I also ordered a replacement item, before receiving the RMA #.
For the noobs in this forum, I do recommend Horizon Hobby's excellent customer service, and a local hobby shop.
But, I fly and race too darn much these days, to sit at home and talk to a customer service representative, over the phone!
Hobbyking's direct-distribution model is my preference now, because I no longer care to associate with the peanut gallery.
I'd rather be flying.....
