The kit also comes with a fiberglass cockpit tub. The canopy frame is also held in place via magnets so you don't have to come up with any kind of hinges or lock/unlock mechanism (unless you want to build a sliding canopy). What I really like is that the canopy frames are pre-cut and no further work apart from some fine-sanding is necessary. You can see some of the surface detail on the canopy frame. Besides, the whole surface detail of the model is quite nice.There is decent level of panel lines, rivets and hatches modelled on the surfaces.
