I am on my third SM F-16 1:6 now, and have never used a bypass or a bellmouth. I find that
they both represent a possible problem in different situations, and have chosen to fly without
them. I simply have about a 1" opening between the end of the turbine cone and the start of
the pipe, this gives me a clear vision of what is going on during startup, and a great possibility
to observe and put out a potential fire during a wet start.
I have used G-Booster 160, Jetcat P180 and the last one flies with a Behotec 220 turbine, and
it's just a great plane to fly regardsless of the power option!
