Bax, I think I am getting it all sorted out. Making progress anyway. When I made all those changes you suggested, it moved all my surfaces around to different channels, but I got that all sorted out.

Question: I need one open channel for my optical kill switch. My radio now says Ch 9 is CAMB on switch SG, but nothing is connected to Ch 9. Can I change the switch on this channel and use it for the optical kill?

PS: no that didn't work. In order for the flap>elev mixing to work ch 9 needs to be on flap switch even though nothing is connected to ch 9. Don't know why.
