Some pictures of the landing gear which can be purchased as a set directly from ACR as well. Originally my plan was to use Behotec C-50 electric retract units, but the ''home-made'' retracts from ACR looked really good so I picked them up as well. The oleo legs are a work of art and the big alloy weels have a nice scale appearance. Due to construction layout, the noseleg is mounted on the nosecone which leaves the noseleg in a not-so-scale position. Apparently it is quite easy to move the leg back to the scale position but I have yet to decide if its worth the effort.
I cant understand why the german gear makers all have pins for mounting the struts. It makes setting up the toe so much harder and once you grind a flat spot it virtually eliminates your chances of adjusting the toe as the gear wear in.[:@]
