Now why didn't I think of that earlier?
I spent an hour or so today visiting various industrial supply outlets & even a welding supply store. Fascinating places but do you think any of them had 1/8" plain steel rod? Nope. Then it hit me... how many times have I bent a nail trying to hammer it home?
NAILS! of course...
And wouldn't you know? This stuff drills like, well a hot drill through butter...
Piece of cake...
There we go, some bad-arse struts...
Happy with those I got down to shaping the new v-stab...
She looks like she wants to get off this workbench & fly already. Soon enough :-)
