There's a German company that has a special model airplane insurance. They will insure you for crash damage, fire, theft, -and yes- even dumb thumbs.

Prices are up there too, just look at the charts. An insurance for a model with a value of 6000euro is going to cost you 746euro annually, or a 20000euro model costs 2290euro a year.
