We found that our 3 cell 1300 mAh 40C discharge battery packs really do a good job with them.
I destroyed a pair of 1300mah Sky liPos on mine today...they were older batts though, 2-3 seasons, so probably just time for them to give it up.
The thing is absolutely a power hog though, at 400W! That's a good 36A draw, so yeah, you need at LEASt a 30C pack...and 40 would be better.
