Default RE: 1/4 scale F9F Panther build

Mr Fun came over Monday night and did some more work on his hatch areas to stiffen things up. I installed a pair of Dubro 500TL tires on my Panther and with the wings plugged in and a few bricks to simulate fuel load they held up to the weight of the plane very well. They are solid tires with the outside rubber or vinyl and the inside the same material but aerated. the analogy the Dubro rep gave me was sorta like the dash of your car. The other plus is that they are a little lighter than the inflatable type. I ground some flat spots on the axles and put some lock tite on the set screws. With a battery charge It is ready to go. Right now the Temp. in Chicago for the past couple of days has been in the 90s. Not very fun being outside. It is now just a combination of when I am available and the weather cooperating to get a test flight on it.
