RE: Futaba 18mz programing help needed
Raj, doesn't sound to difficult. Go to model menu and set up two different mixers. One for the right rudder and one for the left.
The master channel could be one of your sliders. I usually use the left outside slider for airbrakes.
Use the same master for both mixers. The slave for one will be the Right Rudder, slave for the other will be the Left Rudder. The trick is that when the slider is all the way to the "air-brake off position" pick the leftmost point to be neutral (0%) on both graphs. I like using the "line" function. You can easily set it up to do whatever you want. on the right most point with the Master (the slider) at full deflection. Pick a deflection that gives you what you want to cant out on the rudder. maybe like +30% on the Right rudder and -30% on the left. You can even delete all the points in the middle of the line so you just work with the endpoints. A little confusing at first but VERY powerful mixing tool on this radio.
When setting up points don't overlook the little rolly thumbwheel at the bottom of the touchscreen. I sometimes find it a lot easier to dial in a number rather than peck it in with your finger or a stylus. It allows you to look at the plane and dial it in rather than look at the radio.
Best of luck!
