It depends on how your G62 is configured, does it have the cup mount already installed?
The plans measure 190mm from the firewall to the back of the prop. If you added the isolation mount, it is 177mm to the back of the prop.
A stock G62 without the cup mount is 162.5mm long.
I went ahead and added the isolation mount to my firewall for the exact reason that Ram said, I needed to extend the DLE55 out a half inch, and taking out some vibration with the mount seemed like the way to go. It worked out perfect for me without having to buy longer standoffs.
