Bikerbc- got any pics? Congrats on maiden anyhow! Heritageman, hope things will get back to norm, soon. I got silver dope sprayed onto my Taylor J-2 today. I'll let it gas off a couple of days, rub it with some 400 grit again then spray more SIG dope on it. Then it gets the dark blue numbers and trim.
Hi, getting ready to refinish my 1/4 Sig Cub covered in Koveral and Sig dope and am curious. Is the silver to show imperfections in the finish to be removed before the finish coat, or to protect the covering from sunlight, or, make the finish coat opaque like is in full scale? Thanks.
